What is PHP memory limit for WordPress?
WordPress will come with 40 MB of PHP memory. WordPress will Attempt to increase memory allocated to PHP to 40 MB of memory for single site and 64 MB for multisite. 128MB of WordPress configuration php memory is more than enough for the general users. - Login cPanel and search for Select PHP version in Software section.

Second Method
If you are a granted user, you can directly increase the memory limit via PHP.ini file. If you are not, then ask your host to create a duplicate file to increase the memory limit to the maximum level. If you wish to increase the memory limit to 256MB, you can use the following line of code –
